Atlantis is fiction. A fantasy. But when I saw children from five to eight years old on the beach in the summer of 2019, it suggested an idea. And this idea became "La espuma que nos besa los pies", which despite being the first song composed for a little over a year, closes this EP.

The other four themes have emerged later. Although parts of "Kin Zah" had already been sequenced on an Ensoniq SD1 in the 1990s. These parts have suggested the rest to me, has been completed.

"Children Surfing in Atlantis" titles the EP and opens it. It is followed by "Arcadian Voices", a sonorous invocation of the growth of child to youth. "Seven Islands" was suggested by the seven Azores Islands, which some have written that they are what remains of the continent of Atlantis, the tops of that central oceanic mountain range.

"Children Surfing in Atlantis" explores new sounds and takes my music a little further into the future.
